Mastrodonato, Hartje and Heise Lead HCA Monthly Honors

Here are the men’s and women’s monthly honorees for February as selected by the Hockey Commissioners Association.
Men’s Player of the Month: Keaton Mastrodonato, Canisius -
SR Forward (Powell River, BC)
Canisius went 7-3 in February and Mastrodonato was a big part of that. He scored 10 goals as part of a 10-5-15 line for the month, averaging 1.5 PPG and 1.0 GPG.

Women’s Co-Player of the Month: Elle Hartje, Yale University - JR Forward (Detroit, MI)
Hartje went 4-15-19 in helping Yale to a 7-1-0 record in the month of
February. She had at least one point in every game, averaged 2.4
points per game and had one five-point game.
Women’s Co-Player of the Month: Taylor Heise, Minnesota - GR Forward (Lake City, MN)
Heise had nine goals in February, part of a 9-6-15 line in eight games (1.8 PPG). She recently played in her 169th game, a new school record for the Gophers.

(Orangeville, IL) (6 GP, 5-7-12, 2.0 PPG)
Men’s Rookie of the Month: Logan Cooley, Minnesota -
FR Forward (Pittsburg, PA)
Cooley led the Gophers with 3-9-12 for the month, averaging 2.0 PPG and registering at least one point in every game.

Women’s Rookie of the Month: Jordan Ray, Yale -
FR Forward, (Viera, FL)
Ray had a hot month of February, recording 9-7-16 in eight games. Yale was 7-1 in that stretch and Ray scored at least one point in the first seven of those games

Men’s Goaltender of the Month: Yaniv Perets, Quinnipiac -
SR Goalie (Dollard des Ormeaux, PQ)
Perets went 8-0 in February with a 0.79 GAA and a save percentage of .958. He had three shutouts bring his season total to 8.

Women’s Co-Goaltender of the Month: Emma Soderberg, Minnesota Duluth - GR Goalie (Jarved, Sweden)
Soderberg, a finalist for National Goalie of the Year, had a
phenomenal February: 6 GP, 4-0-2, 0.32, .983
Women’s Co-Goaltender of the Month: Ena Nystrom, Mercyhurst - SR Goalie (Stavanger, Norway)
Four shutouts in seven games propelled these February stats for Nystrom: 7 GP, 6-0-1, 0.85, .966.
